I started Amazing Women In History in 2011 - that's practically a lifetime in internet years.

Women in history, and their (often lack of) recognition has been a constant interest and passion of mine. To this day, I get angry when I think about all the amazing women who were discouraged in their passions, beaten down figuratively and literally, their names and contributions erased and lost to time.

Since 2011, my hope has been that in my small corner of the internet, I can redress just a few of those injustices.

And since 2011, I’ve had some equally passionate and incredibly supportive subscribers who have loved joining me for the journey.

My goal has always been to publish more books beyond Amazing Women In History: inspiring stories of 20 women the history books left out and Serious Daring: Inspiring Quotes From Amazing Women In History.

I’m thinking about starting a podcast.

I thought Substack would be a great platform for this going forward, so thank you for joining me.
